Warkworth Gamefish Club invites anglers to fish the whole month of October for the WWGFC Air Vanuatu Octoberfish 2008.
The four species fished for are snapper, trevally, kahawai, and kingfish, with cash prizes across these placings proportional to the angler pool.
The main prize is airfares, accommodation, and transfers for two people to Vanuatu for the AVERAGE WEIGHT snapper of the competition.
At $50 senior and $25 entry for juniors for the whole month this competition probably represents your best ever chance of co-ordinating a fine day with a 'competition' day. Of course the more you weigh the better your chances of that sunny holiday.
