Unfortunately due to some technical issues with the Department of Internal Affairs we have to delay the sale of our entries. They should now be available from about mid January 2010. We apologise for this and we are hoping it will not affect our sales.

EDITORIAL - LAKE TEKAPO FISHING COMPETITION – SATURDAY 14th MARCH 2008
A record 140 entrants competed in this year’s Lake Tekapo Fishing Competition. Organised by the Lake Tekapo Events Group and now into its fourth year, the competition is proving to be a popular event on the annual fishing calendar. This year’s entrants came from as far north as Hamilton. We even had overseas visitors from France & Australia.

Ngahinapouri School Take a Kid Fishing Contest Results

The Ngahinapouri School Take a Kid Fishing Contest was run over the weekend of the 6th & 7th of December. Event organiser Jan Thomas said the 'competition went really, really well and that everyone was astounded at the amount of prizes over $7000, (everyone got something) and the competition is the talk of the community'. There were 132 anglers and 124 fish weighed in.

The 2008 OCTOBERFISH competition was run throughout the month of October (funny that) with some excellent fish caught.
